First Investor Meeting for Film Project

During the past month, we've been focused on forming a team and developing a business plan to promote the film project. Tonight we had our first investor meeting and it seemed to go really well. We held the meeting at a Melting Pot in the area a friend of mine owns. It turned out to be the perfect venue. There was a private room which held 30+ people with a projector so we could share the test footage.

The President of the local Junior Achievement office kicked off the meeting. JA is the non-profit partner for Life on Tilt and I was thrilled to have representation from them at the meeting. I shared a bit about the origins of Tilt and our vision for the film. A World Series of Poker bracelet winner shared a bit about the authenticity of the poker action in Tilt and the global demographics and explosive growth of poker. The filmmaker from New Orleans was in town to share his enthusiasm for the project and where he saw this film positioned in the marketplace.

After this we did some socializing and set up follow up appointments so we can start the next phase of development, which focuses on script development. It was an exciting evening to share this pitch with a qualified group of potential investors and hear their reactions and questions.

Take time to Tilt,
